Hey, I'm Alexa!

Yes, like the Amazon Alexa machine and yes, I will sing if you ask.

I was born and raised in Florida by music teachers and musicians, meaning music is in my DNA! I have been fortunate enough to train in musical theater since the third grade at institutions such as The Patel Conservatory/David Straz Center, Tampa Preparatory School, and NYU Steinhardt, where I received my BM in Vocal Performance Musical Theater. After graduating, I spent my summer as a music director, camp counselor, and voice teacher to young girls at Belvoir Terrace: a renowned arts camp in Lenox, MA. Since then, I continue to teach voice lessons while performing in regional theaters (Jersey Boys, You're a Good Man Charlie Brown), singing on tour throughout the United States (Avatar: The Last Airbender in Concert), and most recently, traveling to over 10 countries as a lead vocalist on the Seabourn Sojourn Cruiseline!

Want to see me on stage? I play Pat Benatar in "Rock Never Dies", a new musical at the Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square. Come rock out with me on Friday and Saturday nights!

What's unique about me is that as a determined artist, I put my whole heart and soul into everything I accomplish. I am a Gemini, love animals despite being allergic, adore working with kids, enjoy nutrition and fitness, have extensive theater carpentry skills, and can sing any song in the Toad voice from the Mario Universe. My commitment to education stems from my belief that we have the opportunity to learn something new every day, so why not live life learning as much as you can from as many places as possible?
